Spring Green Soup

Ingredients :
- Barnyard millet- 20 g
- Moong dal- 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Black peppercorns- 1/2 Tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Ginger finely grated- 1/4 Tsp
- Curry leaves- 4
- oil – 1/2 Tsp
DIRECTIONS :
- Wash millet, add moong dal, salt and 3 cups of water.
- Pressure cook till 4-5 whistles. When it is done, mash this nicely.
- In a pan, add the oil add black peppercorns and when it crackles add the cumin seeds add
curry leaves and ginger to this and saute for a few seconds. Switch off the flame. - Mix the spices to the cooked millet and dal. Mix well and serve.
